Northern Breast Care is part of a multidisciplinary team dedicated solely to the care of patients with benign and malignant breast cancer and breast problems.

An expert team of health professionals work together to ensure the best standards of care are met and the best treatment outcomes achieved. Importantly this is accomplished in a caring environment with each patient treated very individually.

The impact of a cancer diagnosis is overwhelming so we make it our practice to facilitate an appointment within a week of diagnosis of breast cancer so that a treatment plan is embarked upon as soon as possible. The team approach ensures that this is accomplished efficiently and that all aspects of care are considered. It also means that there is continuity of care across different specialties and over the course of treatment and subsequent follow up. Patients with benign disease or those requiring screening for high risk reasons, or routine assessment are seen initially by our Breast Physician, Dr Jenny O’Sullivan. Our Breast Cancer Surgeons are Dr Katrina Moore and Dr Adam Ofri.

The private practices are located at the Mater Clinic, within the Mater Hospital, as well as at Bondi Junction. Patients are able to be treated at any one or a combination of the Mater, North Shore Private and Hunters Hill Private in addition to Royal North Shore Hospital. Our team involves services located on the Northern Beaches Peninsula,  Frenchs Forest and Gosford. Many of our patients come from further afield and from regional areas. We are able to liase and coordinate care so that this can be managed.

Our aim is to provide the latest and best evidenced options for treating breast cancer and other breast problems in a caring environment.
